In January 1969, the eccentric Dennis Keller left the band. Shortly thereafter, the rest of the group also left. Sometime around the fall of 1969, The Fever Tree reformed. Their third album, *Creation*, was also released that year.
Fever Tree featured a guest who would later become a global superstar: Billy Gibbons, later of ZZ Top. Yet this seemed to do the group more harm than good, and suddenly the album features blues and gospel sounds.
They remained on tour well into 1970 to promote the album, but to no avail. Then Dennis Keller left the group again—due to tension.
Their fourth Album *For Sale*, was released and, alongside the brilliant single “Hey Mister,” sold very well. Everything that was left over in any way appears on the album. Very little was recorded with the original lineup; the rest features many guest musicians, including former Byrds drummer Kevin Kelley.
