A patchwork of groovy prog jazz fusion rock named A Couple Of Times was the result of a recording in a small studio named Neubauer in Düsseldorf in late 1973. This only LP from keyboard and drums duo Klaus Bangert and Reinhard Fischer represent the jazzier side of krautrock. It is a primarily instrumental album and contains freely improvised jam sessions as well as some basic-moody and soulful psych pop ballads. The cover design by Düsseldorf artist and graphic designer Manfred Spies is as avant-garde as the music. Appeared in 1973 on the tiny Victory label in a very small number of copies, this early ‘70s prog-psych cult classic is impossibly rare and expensive.
Twogether played a dense atmospheric music, although consisting just of keyboards and drums. This surely also is due to the use of a synthi! The orignal-LP is so rare, that even not any bootleger could hold one copy in his hands to do his sleazy work! This reissue contains the monster-rare single-tracks as a bonus!
